if you meant missions then i would say.... none are hard. They are just time consuming. Ever since the introduction of heroes... you can pretty much hench the entire Prophecies campaign.

Missions in the desert seam to add a bit more complexity than any where else in GW, not that they are harder, but there seams a bit more thought as to how to tackle them.

Abbadons Mouth is possibly the hardest mission, though it all depends on what spawn of Murrsat bosses you get and how your party is set up to deal with them.

There are no hard missions in Prophecies. They're only annoying and long. Though some could become a small problem when going for the bonus too, but anyone with experience can handle it.

You should pretty much ignore the "nothing is hard in Prophesies" comments if you do not have nicely equipped heroes from either Nightfall or Gwen plus a decent amount of skills unlocked.

If you only have Prophesies and basic skills, then starting in the Desert the missions get hard. Dragon's Lair is not too bad unless you're going for the bonus as the other post said.

Thunderhead Keep weeded out many, many pugs back in the day. It is possible to hench it, as that is how I got my first 4 or so characters thru it. I didn't successfully pug it until I was taking my Paragon thru much later. It requires that players in the pug follow a coordinated strategy which is difficult to come by.

The ring of fire missions at the end are pretty challenging, but I found them to be a step down in difficulty from THK.

Nowadays with heroes and the right skills, THK is a piece of cake. If you don't have those heroes and skills, it can be real pain.

Desert Missions are kinda hard. Party of six vs. enemies which are > 20lvl + TIMER. It makes them hard.

Dragons Lair is kinda easy, even with bonus.

The only annoying ones are the Crystal Desert ones. They're just fiddly...

Back in the day of just Prophecies, and before the addition of heroes, I would say THK stands out as the one mission that weeded out the n00bs. Tried and failed several times with PUGs. Finally got it with a good guild team that knew what to do and/or followed directions of party leader.

Based on not having Heroes and the unlock packs.

The Crystal Desert quests are where it starts getting harder. It had a buddy and I stumped until we had played more and fallen into a steady playstyle. Glint (Dragon) with the bonus will require a group but can be done.

Taking on the Mursaat before getting infused, pain in the ass, but you can hench it.

Thunderhead Keep without a buddy will cause you some headaches. It is a tough mission but can be done with a minimum of fuss once you figure out a plan.

The Ring of Fire missions may require you to tweak your build around to be most effective. The final 3 missions are in the Ring, so they should be harder than most. That being said, only the final one is that hard, but patience and skill tweaking will carry the day.

Umm, the question was not which ones are hard but which ones are hardest. There's a difference. Even for an experienced player who thinks they are all easy, some are still going to be harder (i.e., "less easy") than others.

For basic missions, I found that, using henches ONLY, Sanctum Cay and the desert missions were the most challenging, assuming your character is at or near the level of the henches for that mission. If you are also doing the bonus, I found Frost Gate, Aurora Glade, Dunes of Despair, and Thunderhead Keep to be the most challenging. For some of these missions, I just skipped the bonus and went back and did them later when I was higher level.

Of course, missions are easier (usually, but not always!) in a player group. But I completed Prophecies on my warrior using only henches my first time thorough (though I had to try numerous times on many of them); I did have to go back and complete some of the bonuses after I finished the game, some of which (e.g., Aurora Glade) could only be done by failing the mission in order to get the bonus. I must confess that I could only get a couple of the bonuses (e.g., Dunes of Despair and Thunderhead Keep) after the advent of Heroes, however.

Abbadons mouth with prophecies only skills and hench is probably the toughest imo ~ mainly because of Willa the Unpleasant. If you dont have enchant removal she can pretty much outheal the damage your hench will deal creating a stalemate...so yeah take enchant removal for [skill]aura of faith[/skill] on this one in case she pops up.

* Thirsty River HM. The King dies in no time, just after a few hits of a single archer. With 6 characters, party can't affort to have a protector keeping track on him, and he is NOT added to the ally list.
* Elona Reach HM. Patrols walk too fast, follow you too much and gather too easily.
* Aurora Glade HM with Henchmen. IMPOSSIBLE to Master, since the enemies will gather a lot, and you can't pull and kill them at the same that you keep the shrines captured.
* Thunderheap Keep in HM with henchmen. You have to wait by king jallis and face too much enemies. With the ballistas it's much easier, but you can't use those with H/H.

By the way, those are the ones I'm currenlty missing, XD
I'll try to find a party to make any of them, specially the 6-party ones.
I hate 2...6 party limitations. 8..12 it's much better! The more, the merrier!

The rest are very easy in both Hard and Normal mode.
I was amazed on how easy the Titans were. They were just like in NM.

Oddly enough, you spelled Prophecies correctly. Of course, if it's not underlined in red when you type it in, then it's ok (unless maybe, the spell check is an option I happen to have on - not sure about that).

Anywho - I agree completely with Hallomik - you should ignore the useless "nothing is hard in Prophecies" comments - they add nothing to help answer your question. Easy/hard is a relative thing. Although it is true that you can H&H all of Prophecies in Normal Mode, some missions are still harder (or less-easy, if you must) than others.

As has been said, the desert missions can be difficult, but if you are close to finishing Prophecies, you've probably done them already.

Next up would be Thunderhead Keep (THK) - In the early days, we used to have a lot of trouble with this one - until the light dawned and we figured out "the secret". The secret is - towards the end, when enemies are coming in the 2 gates - don't try to split your forces and guard both gates - have everyone stay up the top of the stairs by the King and you can kill the enemies as they come up. You can even H&H the bonus that way.

So basically, all that's left are the Ring of Fire missions.

I would have to say Hell's Precipice is the hardest of them all. It's very time consuming and those sparks are so deadly. After that probably Thunderhead and Abaddon's Mouth I think.
